The historical background of technologies comes up with the inventions of simple tools and techniques that ultimately help to make human task easier and faster. It is also actively used to entertain the human in any mean. The technology basically, refers to the purposeful application of information in the design, production and utilization of goods and services, and in the institution of human activities. Technology has without doubt transformed our lives into something much better.

If we actually compare the way we live today and how life was a few years back, we will definitely notice how much technology has changed our lives. It has given us a lot of freedom and also a lot of ways to save on resources and time. It is almost impossible to give one particular type of technology credit for all this change. How much the financial condition of a nation has grown can be analyzed by measuring the level of technology that they have achieved. This is due to the fact that there are different factors that affect an individual lives. A type of technology will only be useful until its advancement is produced.

Though, it has benefited the human in different sector in making human life a lot easier, there are several negative effects that technology has done to us. We will be unveiling the dark side of technologies that has direct impact on human being upon using the technologies excessively.


Excessive use of technologies lead people to get attached with such technologies they are using with.It is sometime called Internet Addiction or Internet addiction disorder. It is a serious problem involving the inability to control use of various kinds of technology, specially the internet, smart phones, tablets and social networking site like facebook, twitter and Instagram.

Gaming Addiction: 

There are increasing evidences that people of all ages, especially teens and even Childs are facing very real, sometimes severe consequences associated with uncontrollable use of video and computer games. Just like gambling and other uncontrollable behaviors, teens can become so attached in the fantasy world of gaming that they ignore their family, friends, work, and school.

Some impacts of Gaming Addiction are listed below,

               - Forget to eat.

               - Can negatively affect the mental health.

               - Make shy and introvert.

Engaged Online Excessive Time:

Nowadays, most of people have direct access to internet on their hand through smart phones which make them to stay engaged in online surfing most of the time. Excessively engaging on such activity can direct impact personal health and behaviors. It has direct impact on mental health developing stress, sleeping disorder and sometime lead to depression. It also degrades social participation.

Cyber Bullying:

It is the act of harming or harassing through information technology networks in a repeated and deliberate manner. With the excessive use of communication technology, cyber bullying has become increasingly common, especially among teenagers. This can lead children and young people indicate fear of cyber bullies which made them reluctant to go to school. One who suffers from cyber bullying may harm themselves and even attempts of suicide.

Privacy and Safety Risk:

Development of technologies also develops the privacy and safety risk in different mean. People share their location and other information into internet world, which can be accessed and create problem in one's life and property. Sometime, people get exploited by using such technologies.

Some common impact on people life when using the different technologies excessively can be like:

               - They can lose their social bonding.

               - It can create constant distraction on any their activity.

               - It may directly create development issue in children.

   - Excessive such of such technologies may result of loss of hearing and Eyesight.

So, make sure you do not get addicted to such technologies. You should be responsible to yourself, family and friends. There are the things that you should do instead of getting engaged in technologies maximum hours.

   - Do not give electronic gadget as gift to children or providing as a mean of entertainment.

               - Do not put baby in front of the screen.

               - Remove technologies from bedroom.

               - It is always good to hang out with friends.

   - Family should be in priority, go out for dinner, and spend time with family.

   - Do physical exercises so you can have sound sleep? Meditation and yoga are the best things to do for health.

               - Finally, being with society member is always fun than being online in social media.
